Please note that as a boot camp participant, you are expected to attend each of the 3 days and be available during all boot camp hours am - pm. You can plan on writing between 5 and 6 hours each of the three days and participate in workshops and group discussions. Writing facilitators, librarians, a representative from SFU's Copyright office and the Assistant for Theses will be available over the course of Thesis Boot Camp to support your progress. SFU graduate students are encouraged to book consultations with the Research Commons staff and partners. Not finding what you're looking for? Along with a comfortable, quiet working environment, writing and research support, and snacks and lunches, the workshop offers students community and motivation in that final push towards the completion of their dissertation or thesis. Thesis Boot Camp will be limited to 30 registrants, on a first come-first served basis. If you are a returning Boot Camper, please fill out the registration form and indicate that you have previously attended.
